From assigned to merged.
Skipper is a desktop app that picks up the issues assigned to you, plans each one, scores how far to trust the plan, and drives your coding agent all the way to a merged pull request. You decide at the gates: the plan when the score is low, the diff every time.
The route
Every issue rides the same line. Skipper works the stops marked with a tick, and you decide at the rings. Watch issue #142 go, or select any stop.

Issue #142
Follow one issue from assignment to merge, or select any stop on the line to see what happens there.
A score you can check
Skipper doesn’t ask a model how sure it feels. Before any code is written, every plan goes through a set of checks against your repo, and the score decides where you step in. This is what issue #142’s plan went through.
-
GroundedEvery file and symbol the plan cites has to exist in the repo.
All 3 cited files exist.
-
CriticAn adversarial reviewer reads the plan with the repo at hand and looks for holes.
One objection: the plan doesn’t say how a stale token is detected.
-
ClearThe issue has to say what done looks like, so the result can be verified.
Expected behavior and steps to reproduce are both there.
-
ConvergentIndependent plans are drafted for the same issue and compared.
They agree on the approach.
Issue #142 scores
82%
- LowStops and tells you what’s missing
- In betweenWaits for you to approve or edit the plan
- HighGoes straight to coding
The checks are weighted and the bands calibrated against real runs. In the app, every score opens up to show the checks behind it.
Works with what you already use
Each role can run on a different agent: Claude Code, Codex CLI, Copilot CLI or Gemini CLI.
Your coding agent
Claude Code, Codex CLI, Copilot CLI or Gemini CLI. Pick one for each role and override it per repo. Skipper uses the logins those CLIs already have and ships no keys of its own.
Your trackers
GitHub, GitLab, Jira, OpenProject and Bitbucket, across as many accounts as you have. Everything assigned to you lands in one inbox.
Your machine
A desktop app for macOS on Apple Silicon and for Windows. It talks to your platforms directly, with no Skipper server in between, and every agent works in its own git worktree.
Closed beta
Skipper is being tried by a small group of developers. If you’d like to join, write a couple of lines about the trackers and the coding agent you use.
